Is the FORM a replacement for a basketball?

The FORM is not meant to be a replacement basketball or a stand-in for a coach. It’s a training tool to help improve players’ shooting performance outside of practice.

Why is the shape ideal for practice?

As coaches know, one of the biggest issues players have with shooting is proper hand placement, wrist and elbow alignment, and ball rotation — and it can be hard for players to tell what they’re doing wrong when practicing alone. The FORM helps players learn how to properly align shots so that their accuracy is significantly improved when it comes to shooting on the court.

How is this better than other training tools?

The FORM is the only training tool on the market that focuses specifically on developing proper shooting form. Repetitive shooting alone does you no good if you have bad technique. Shooting with the FORM before your practices or games, helps hone in proper technique and build positive muscle memory to increase accuracy and consistency in game time.
