Shooting Hand Placement

Are you holding the ball correctly?

Cradle the bottom of the FORM, ensuring a gap of space between the surface and your shooting hand. The FORM’s beveled edges and centered markers guide finger placement. Make sure your hand is centered with your thumb and little finger stretched out to the sides. This ensures consistent hand placement so it’s in the sweet spot for a straight shot. Every time.

Shooting Arm Posture

Is your arm aligned for a straight shot?

As you prepare to shoot, use the back edge of the FORM to ensure it’s level. This will keep your elbow in and under the FORM, creating proper elbow-wrist alignment as you release. Eye on the target.

Guide Hand

Does your non-shooting hand help your shot?

The flat side surface of the FORM guides your non-shooting hand to the proper location (not on top, not underneath) and teaches you to steady the ball without pushing your shot left or right. No force, just balance.

Arm Extension and Wrist Flick

How’s your follow through?

The FORM’s unique design requires you to lock out your elbow and shoot up through your fingers. This creates arm extension and a strong wrist flick. When done correctly, FORM will provide instant feedback on proper rotation. Swoosh.
Is the FORM a replacement for a basketball?

The FORM is not meant to be a replacement basketball or a stand-in for a coach. It’s a training tool to help improve shooting form and performance in practice or at home.

Why is the shape ideal for practice?

As coaches know, one of the biggest issues players have with shooting is proper hand placement, wrist and elbow alignment, and ball rotation — and it can be hard for players to tell what they’re doing wrong when practicing alone. The FORM helps players learn how to properly align shots so that their accuracy is significantly improved when it comes to shooting on the court.

How is this better than other training tools?

The FORM is the only training tool on the market that focuses specifically on developing proper shooting form. Repetitive shooting alone does you no good if you have bad technique. Shooting with the FORM before your practices or games, helps hone in proper technique and build positive muscle memory to increase accuracy and consistency in game time.
